Research only. No trading connection.
The public app has no broker order-entry, balance, holdings, or positions API. Its portfolio is a manual tracker owned by each visitor. Your workspace never imports the operator’s investments.
Separate data collector
Broker application keys and session tokens stay in a private process. Only a fixed schema of public quote fields can reach the app. The web service uses a separate read-only market-data store when configured.

Freshness and fallbacks
Broker snapshots older than two minutes are discarded. If a broker is offline or its session expires, the app uses delayed Yahoo Finance quotes. Unavailable instruments are marked as samples and excluded from the screener. Last-trade times may be from the previous session on weekends and holidays.
Charts and news
Daily-close charts and momentum metrics use Yahoo Finance history. Market, company, and policy headlines come from Google News RSS. Sources and publication times are shown alongside each headline.
Security has practical limits
No internet service can promise perfect protection. Access controls, source isolation, restricted responses, security headers, and secret scans reduce risk. A compromised private collector still requires immediate token revocation and credential rotation.
